The "F" word

Ok....in the last week I have had two comments made about my precious baby Madison in her presence......

We were walking in Wal-Mart, and a teenage boy who worked there saw Maddie in the car seat and yelled out, "That is the FATTEST baby I have ever seen!" He then proceeded to call his friend over so they could talk about how FAT she is. Poor thing....she didn't know what to think. How dare they use the "F" word about my baby.

The next evening we were in our favorite local Mexican restaurant. The young guy who was bringing out the food to us stopped and said, "Cute baby! She have MOHAWK, Si?" I was like, "UH, well, yes, but not on purpose!"

Poor girl, she is already busting out of her bikini, and the only hopes of wearing hair bows at the moment lie with the future of a "Sanjaya" hairdo!

BUSY few weeks

Sam started KINDERGARTEN last week! He is so excited and LOVES it! He is up at 6 every day DYING to go to the bus stop! I know it won't last....but I am enjoying his excitement. There are only 10 kids in his class...and he has 3 teachers in there for reading and writing for 2 1/2 hours every morning. I hope that lasts too!
The neighborhood kids lined up and ready for the bus! Sam is younger than all of them, but fits right in!
We had Sam and Maddie's Baptism last Sunday. It was a beautiful ceremony and they both did VERY well. We love our new church and Pastor....I cried my eyes out, it was very emotional. I am glad our families were able to share it with us.
Here is Maddie with her Daddy, wearing her white Feltman brothers dress given to her by her Great Aunt Marilyn and her first silver bracelet given to her by her Nana, Poppa, Dylan, and Itchy for the occasion. The girl loves jewelry. She got so excited when my mom showed the bracelet to her and when I put it on her. I think we are in trouble!
Maddie went swimming for the first time last week. She loves the water. I think she is going to be a water bug like her Mommy and brother. We were cracking up at her splashing herself in the face! It was too cute!
